A Message from Our President

Joining PCT was the best decision I made in college. Every brother has unique passions and goals – basketball, jet engines, indie music, social justice, private equity, you name it – that make our community so diverse.

You might be wondering then: what brings us together? Professionalism, service, and wellness.

I strongly believe that the best professional resources at Penn are the upperclassmen. Freshman spring, I didn’t have much of a connection with them, but business fraternities felt like a great way to have access – and PCT has exceeded my expectations. Through rush alone, I met brothers with a wide array of professional aspirations. Many of these brothers have remained actively involved with the fraternity post-graduation, routinely showing up at homecoming gatherings and also helping current brothers earn internships at over 50 companies in finance, consulting, tech, and beyond.

Although our founding mission revolves around creating the business leaders of the future, we don’t lose sight of service in the process. Each semester, we organize volunteer events so that brothers can give back to our surrounding community. Cradles to Crayons, The Innocence Project, Women Against Abuse all represent organizations that we’ve partnered with through service and fundraisers.

There’s no doubt that Penn culture can be overwhelming. The stress over recruiting, multi-step club applications, and simply making new friends are all thoughts that crossed our minds at some point. After having faced burnout my first semester, I knew that I needed to find a better balance – and Phi Chi’s Wellness pillar provided that. PCT’s commitment to both physical and mental wellness differentiates us from other pre-professional organizations. Tennis tournaments, nutrition workshops, painting, pottery, and study breaks during exam weeks represent just a few of the wellness initiatives we’ve held for our brothers.

PCT is more than just a fraternity — we’re a family. I’ve met some incredibly genuine and talented people through this organization, many of whom I’m proud to call lifelong friends. I hope the same for you too.

To anyone interested in rushing: we’re so excited to meet you, and we hope you choose our brotherhood. I encourage you to follow our socials and reach out to me or any of our brothers to learn more about us.

Warm regards,

Suraj Sait
2024 President

Get to know our Executive Board

Erica Cho
Executive Vice President

Hey everyone! My name is Erica, and I am a junior studying in in the Huntsman Program (Wharton & CAS). I am Korean-American, and I grew up in Japan, Hawaii, and South Korea. In my free time, I love cooking, reading, listening to music (Sabrina Carpenter, Laufey, keshi, grentperez), playing the violin, or playing tennis with the brothers.

Joining PCT has been single-handedly the best choice I made during my time at Penn. PCT is the group that I get to call “my people”. To walk into a room and to know that every single person loves you for who you are — I believe it to be an irreplaceable feeling that cannot be found anywhere else on campus.

As the EVP, I am looking forward to being the glue that ties everyone together. Even as busy as life gets to be at Penn, I am one to put PCT first. I am mainly excited for trampoline parks, indoor skydiving, and more trips and retreats with the brotherhood :)

With the Spring 2024 rush cycle coming up, I know that each and every one of us brothers are excited to meet the rushes. It is my hope that you can also find this feeling of belonging and support in our community, building the future of our brotherhood with us.

Please feel free to reach out to any one of us; we would be more than happy to share our love for PCT with you.

Zain Salloum
Internal Vice President

Hi! My name is Zain Salloum, and I am a junior in the College studying Economics(sigh) and... something else. I'm from Colts Neck, NJ, and in my free time I love doing anything food related (ice cream, pastry, restaurants, food. trucks, etc). I consider myself something of a semi-professional ice cream maker and am trying to create at least three recipes per semester :), and many of our bros would consider me to be a world champion instagram reels sender.

I love PCT so much because I have met the people I love to talk to about every little thing in life, which is a breath of fresh air, especially at Penn. Whether it be a question about my Econ homework, a picture of some food I just tried, or a random selfie, you can bet I'm sending it to another bro. My new favorite activity is just finding bros studying in Huntsman and turning an already unproductive study session into a cute social hour where I can get to know someone new, or make new plans with the brothers I already spend lots of time with!

Because of this, as IVP I am really excited to more brotherhood-wide events and trips where we can all spend more time together, as well as making sure our regular events can accommodate the entire brotherhood!

I am so hyped to meet you all during the Spring 2024 rush cycle, and if you have any questions or just want to meet me, please reach out!

Kampton Kam
Vice President of Finance

Hi, my name is Kampton, and I was born and raised in Singapore! I’m a sophomore majoring in Finance and Business Analytics at Wharton and on Penn’s Track and Field team, specializing in the High jump.

I enjoy going to cafes and hanging out with my friends whenever I am not busy with practice and competition. PCT is family, which was one of the reasons why I decided to stay here to campaign for the Olympics while at Penn and not take a gap semester to train and compete in Europe. PCT is where I’ve met some of the best people and my closest friends, and I’m excited to see our community grow!

I can’t wait to start planning our spring semester events as VP of finance with the rest of the board! Who knows what is on the itinerary? Paintball? Retreat? Top golf? St Patty’s Day?

Rushes! We are so eager to meet all of you and show you what PCT is all about, and we hope you are equally excited, too! Stay tuned for our open rush events in the spring, and see you soon!
